I dropped my apple laptop on the floor and it wont switch off?
i dropped my apple laptop , it slid off of a 2 foot high foot stall and landed half on the floor and half on a rug - which was lucky!! - it seems to be ok but the only thing is that it is taking longer to load up when i switch it on and it wont turn off unless i hold the power button down. anyone got any thoughts on what this could be?? or anything i could do that might help?? cheers daisy

drop it again (it worked for one of the laptops at my brother's school)

am not sure of this answer but try it.. i experienced it already, 1. if you are familiar of dismantling laptops, try to disconnect all the parts such as battery hard drive optica drive memory processor din try to short or reset cmos battery of your laptop and put siicon grease to your heatsink just try it.. after an hour try to connect all the parts you had disconnected din try to hold on the power button of your laptop awhile.. just try it
