Are you not able to download Windows Live Messenger on an Apple Laptop?
I can't figure out how to download it on my MacBook. I was wondering if you can't download it on Apple laptops because it is Windows.

You can not it is for windows operating systems only hence the name windows live.

I believe Microsoft make a client for OS X, but it isn't very good. You can get Adium from http://www.adiumx.com/ - most OS X users I know prefer it for their IM conversations. It can connect to the Windows Live Messenger network.

idk if you can but if you get pidgin you could sign onto your windows live account and several other accounts at the same time. http://www.pidgin.im/

MSN messanger or (windows live messanger) CAN be downloaded on a Mac, you just need the right version. Go to www.downloads.com and type in windows live messanger (or msn messanger) for a mac into the search engine and it will give you options. The only problem with these versions is that some of the functions (like handwriting) doesn't work on mac because they ARE windows based applications. Hope this helped.
