What apple mac laptop would be suitable for video editing which includes final cut pro?
im looking to buy an apple laptop with final cut pro mostly to use for video editing. what would be the best to use? would a Macbook laptop which includes 2.1GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 1GB memory, Combo drive and 120GB hard drive be good anough? (HD footage also)

Yes, good enough, but I really think you are better getting a Macbook Pro. The graphics card is much better and you really need speed (not to mention the largest hard drive) for video editing. If your budget allows, skip the macbook and get the macbook pro.

Can you download Sony Vegas Movie Editor and Photoshop cs3 on an APPLE laptop?
I'm 15, and have a windows desktop computer. I'm thinking about getting an apple laptop. What I'm wondering is can I have photoshop cs3 and Sony Vegas Movie Editor on an apple laptop? I didn't know because I can only find a download for Windows Vista.

Downloaded versions are NOT legal. If you want CS3 for a Mac you need to buy the Mac version.

Sony's Vegas Pro 8 is only for Microsoft Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista, not Apple (Mac) computers. There are several video editor alternatives, however, that are available for the Mac (including Final Cut, etc...) Adobe Photoshop is available for the Mac.

Is it possible to hook a personal laserwriter LS up to a modern apple laptop?
I have an old personal laser writer LS (1991) with one of the old round 8 pin plugs. My new apple laptop has all usb. Is it possible to use the printer with the laptop?

You can buy a USB to Serial adapter but why? The Mac is capable of fantastic printing but not with a printer that old. Printers are cheap, get a new one. I doubt you can get OS 10 drivers for the printer anyway.
