Should I buy my first apple laptop at a Apple store?
I am buying my first Apple Laptop and i want to save money but I feel that the best way to do it is through the Apple store so can get a the warranty and everything i need if it breaks. Is this my best choice?

If a store is an authorized Apple retailer, there's no real advantage of going to an Apple store.

I would suggest not buying an Apple computer, you over pay for something that does nothing better then a windows or Linux machine can do for half the price.

If you don't get it from the apple store and get it from any other shop, As long as it's new you get the same warranty. If it breaks and it's still in warrranty you can just take it to the apple store and they will fix it for free. Make sure you make a genius bar resevation first though on the apple.com website.

Of course ! I bought my laptop there. It was awesome ! They helped you chose the right software and even told you what laptop would be better for what your using it for! I ended up just getting a regular Macbook. But now there are lots of different computers you can chose from. Good luck and have fun finding your first Apple Laptop!

doesnt matter where you buy it.....you still get the Apple warranty ya know since it is an apple computer?

Don't buy a Macbook. They are overpriced and terrible. If you want to get something much better for the same price, send me an email through my profile and tell me your pricerange and I'll send you an email back with the best deal.

If you want to talk about your options, it would be a good idea. But if you know what you're gonna buy, an official online store is just as good.

I actually had a similar question last week. during the process of attempting to look the solution I found a way to obtain a Macbook air for free from www.themacbookinsight.tk!! mine is scheduled for delivery any days now and it's going to be great!! Good luck

I am at uni on my last year and i really need laptop. I really want and always wanted apple. But as i am student and do not work too many days, i cannot afford new apple laptop. Where can i get second hand one?

How do you do a right click on an apple laptop?
How do you do a right click on an apple laptop?
Ok this might sound a little stupid, but I have an apple laptop computer and found a picture I want to set as my wallpaper. There is no right click button, it just has one button. How do you a right click without a mouse? It is real, like the newest version of a macbook

You press control and click. If you have a newer macbook, you can set it so that you place two fingers on the trackpad and click. That would be found under the mouse preferences.

Mac 101. There's NO right click, it's a Mac. Get a book called Mac OS the Missing Manual Leopard edition by David Pogue. It will be the best money spent besides buying a Mac.

Get wireless internet on an apple laptop with just AirPort
can you get wireless internet on an apple laptop with just AirPort?
I want to get an apple laptop (the clamshell kind) and I need to know if it is possible to not pay for wireless internet and have AirPort installed into the laptop. My home computer has a cable connection and I want to know what I have to do to access the internet wirelessly from my room. Does airport provide the whole wireless internet or do I really have to pay?

no you do not have to pay. my mom got an apple laptop and she only has airport connected to the computer. it works fine so ask the apple store to just give you airport.

AirPort is simply what Apple calls their WiFi cards and routers. If you put a wireless router on your cable modem at home you'll be able to access the Internet via your laptop with an AirPort card. Any wireless router will do regardless of whether it's Apple or LinkSys or Belkin, etc.
