Can I watch videos on an Apple Laptop that were originally downloaded onto my PC?
I down loaded a few movies on my pc and stored them on a USB flashdrive. I think that they were saved as an .avi extention. Can I watch any videos on an Apple Laptop from the flashdrive? What types of video media players can I used then? Is it easy to convert movies download from a PC and watch them on an Apple?

It cannot play avi naturally but I think an extension is out for it. Check out this website. It has some really good ideas. http://www.iskysoft.com/topic-snow-leopard/how-to-play-avi-with-quicktime-on-mac.html

VLC Media Player is a very nice little program that plays all kinds of audio and video files and is available for the Mac: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html It will play AVI (DivX/XviD), Apple's MOV format, and just about anything else you can find. It will play files off a flash drive, CD/DVD drive or hard drive. And you don't need to bother converting movies from your PC to play on the Mac -- VLC will play them without that hassle.

You just need Total Video Converter ."Convert all video files to AVCHD, psp, iPod, iPhone, swf, flv, DVD, VCD, Xbox360, PS3... !" http://www.effectmatrix.com/total-video-converter/index.htm
