Can you use AIM with an apple macbook pro.....i was just wondering before I bought one....or any other good laptops you suggest...

Yes, AOL has an AIM Client. However, I would recommend using the program 'Adium' It allows you to connect to several chat clients, like Google, AIM, ICQ, Yahoo, and MSN all within one client.
