what is the best apple laptop for me?
i am a teenager, and the macbook air sounded pretty cool, but then discovered it was over priced, and it doesnt have many outlets to connect things, also it does not have a slot for DVDS/CDs? thts like woaa. so i was wondering if the regular macbook is a better laptop for me? i need help finding the right apple laptop for me? thnnxx.

Well, I know Mac's are "cooler" with everyone than PC's, but the fact is PC's offer a lot more bang for the buck. All the macs are high priced, you can get a well equipped Dell for a fraction of the cost of a Mac and then spend the money you save on cool software, CorelDraw for example. I don't know much about macs new stuff, I used to own a G4, I thought it crashed worse than any pc I ever owned.

All of the new MacBooks are great computers. You can accomplish nearly anything that a casual user would need to do with any model of the MacBook (white, 2.0GHz Aluminum, and 2.4 GHz Aluminum). If you're somewhat tight on cash, go with the MacBook White for $999. Otherwise, get an aluminum model. You will get a much sturdier computer with an awesome new trackpad. I personally chose the 2.4 GHz model for its larger hard drive and backlit keyboard. I love my MacBook; it has yet to let me down. The MacBook Air has a great concept behind it, but it is too expensive for loss of computing power that it provides. If you plan on using your computer for things like intense video editing or gaming you should probably get one of the Pro models. Otherwise, get a MacBook. Good Luck!
